Helping Animals, Building Friendships
A shared love for volunteering at the Humane Society brought together Mike and Molly, whose connection grew from their mutual passion for helping animals. Before receiving services from Home and Community Options, Mike lived with his sister, and later with foster parents. About 20 years ago, he moved into his first home with HCO, where he lived until 2023. He has since transitioned to a new home within the agency, where he continues to live a full and active life. Outside of his job at the Elks Club, Mike enjoys mowing the lawn, going for walks, playing slots and bingo on his iPad, and watching game shows on TV.
