Jack’s Journey Toward Independence
For many years, Jack has been part of the Home and Community Options family, receiving support as he’s grown and taken exciting steps toward independence. He has grown in confidence, independence, and skill. While starting his HCO journey at the Resource Home, he recently reached two big milestones: graduating from Lewiston-Altura High School and moving from his childhood home to living in an HCO residential home. Change can take time, but Jack approached his move with courage and enthusiasm. Before settling in, he got to meet his new roommates, see his room, and even choose the color for his walls, helping him feel right at home from the start. Now that he’s settled in, Jack has found plenty to love about his new home, including being closer to several family members.
