What is your name?
I am Tom, my full name is Thomas.
Where do you live?
I live in Winona, Minnesota. I’ve been with HCO for about 5 years and I’ve been with the same house since I moved here.
Where do you work?
I currently work at ORC. I help clean various businesses around Winona, including HCO’s Central Office! My very first job, I helped make boats. I did that from ages 14-17 years old. Later on in life, I helped on a commercial fishing boat down in Florida.
What do you like to do on your free time?
I enjoy cooking, fishing, crocheting blankets, watching movies and attending WSU sporting events.
What is your favorite tv show/movie?
I really like watching movies on Netflix and fishing shows. I enjoy guessing what type of fish they have caught.
Do you have a favorite band/song/genre?
I like it all! I really enjoy the St. Louis Blues Jazz Band, Usher and Louisiana Jazz.
Where do you like to go out to eat?
I like going to the Blackhorse. They have really good steaks and wings there.
Do you like to exercise?
I get a lot of exercise at work but I would love to start going to the YMCA to get a bit more exercise.
What is your favorite holiday?
I really enjoy Thanksgiving. I love to cook, so it makes me happy when I get to cook the Thanksgiving meal.
What is your favorite season?
I enjoy spring because that’s when I can get out to fish again!
Tell us about where you grew up.
I grew up in Merritt Island, Florida. I had to deal with alligators and rattle snakes while I lived there. I was raised doing what I love which is fishing and hunting.
Do you have any goals for the future?
My goal is to get my license and a car. I would love to have that kind of independence.
What do you like about HCO?
I enjoy all the staff at HCO. Ashley helps me with my schedule, Kathy helps keep the house running smoothly, and Marcus is a great cook! I am thankful for everyone!
