Randy Domeyer grew up on a dairy and hog farm in Northeast Iowa. After graduating from Iowa State University, he began a career in banking as a commercial and ag lender. His job brought him to Winona, where he worked for Norwest Bank and then Wells Fargo. In 1999, he was named to the Winona County Fair Hall of Fame.

After 20 years, he left Winona in 2000 to become the President of Wells Fargo in Blue Earth, later transferring to become Wells Fargo’s Business Banking Manager in Faribault. From 2005 to 2008, he was the Chief Credit Officer for Roundbank in Waseca.

In 2008, Randy returned to Winona and joined Merchants Bank. He has been very active in the community and is currently a member of the Winona Rotary Club, Civic Association, and serves on the Latsch Memorial Board.  In 2014, Randy was promoted to Manager for the Business Banking Department in Winona, and Senior Lending Officer for the Winona Region and to Senior Vice President and Commercial Manager.  He retired in April of 2020.

Randy had attended the HCO musicals and knew Denny Theede, former Executive Director of HCO. Randy was aware of the services that HCO offered, and when he was approached to join the HCO Board, he thought it would be a great way that he could support individuals with developmental disabilities.

Randy says, “The clientele that HCO serves are wonderful people, and it is great to be able to support them. I am really proud of the staff for what they have done during COVID and with the staffing issues — They are great!! THANK YOU for your support, and for enduring the challenges of the past few years.”

Randy and his wife, Celia, live in Minnesota City and have been married 41 years. They have four daughters (including triplets) and 11 grandchildren.
