HCO’s 1031 Program was full of energy and excitement as the holidays approached. The men got creative with holiday crafts, making glittery snowflakes, holiday slime, mini canvas Christmas trees, and salt dough ornaments.
The Friendship Tree was truly a highlight for one of the men this year. As he unwrapped his gifts, his eyes lit up with joy, and he exclaimed, “This is my best Christmas ever!”
Teamwork brought the holiday spirit to life as one gentlemen decorated his tree, while the others worked together to put up another tree and deck out the house. Everyone enjoyed spending quality time with family, making the season even more meaningful.
In the kitchen, one of the men took charge of the food, preparing a holiday meal for the house and baking delicious treats like New Year’s cupcakes and Holiday Oreo fudge. For New Year’s Eve, they celebrated with chicken and potato bites, sparkling juice, and fun 2025 glasses while watching the ball drop around the world.
The season also brought moments of reflection. One of the men created a vision board for 2025 and decided to join a men’s Bible study group in January.
Holiday music sparked a lively dance party, and the group made sure to capture the fun with plenty of festive photos by the tree. As the holidays have now come to a close, they are welcoming the new year with joy and hope for all that lies ahead.
