Community Support Services
Community Living Services (CLS) assists clients with developing daily living skills to help them become more independent. Semi-independent living services (SILS) are designed to enable the individual living in the community, or the family home, to develop skills and grow in their ability to live with greater independence. Family Support Services are designed to assist families that are caring for a child or adult with developmental disabilities. The various programs offered help to reduce the stress of the primary caregivers and assist the individual served to improve their abilities to care for themselves. Families may receive one or more of the following types of services: personal care, In-Home Support, HomeMaker, Respite Care, Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS), Family Training and Education, and Family Resource Homes.
