HCO Musicals enter their 21st year
The popularity of the HCO musical productions has continued to grow, providing high quality and family friendly performances to sell-out crowds year after year. These productions were established to support the needs of HCO in serving people with disabilities; they have become a part of local community life and bring together some of the strongest talent in the Winona area. HCO strives to provide a quality musical production that integrates individuals with disabilities into the performing arts as a means of enhancing life in our community for all. By bringing the quality that has become associated with HCO productions to this wonderful show, we are confident that we will be able to engage large audiences with the same enthusiasm as we have in past years.
While our yearly production acts as a fundraiser to assist us providing much needed services, supplies, and equipment for those we support, its primary purpose is to promote the inclusion of individuals with disabilities into our daily lives. Our musicals demonstrate that individuals with disabilities offer valued contributions to society through integration of our clients into the community theater event as cast members, backstage crew members, and other behind-the-scenes volunteering roles.
